From Review to Offensive – A Sales Kickoff Meeting without Nonsense
The morning session started at 9:00 with individual presentations. Each sales specialist took 5–15 minutes to answer four hard-hitting questions:
- Did you meet your sales and collection targets for H1? If not, by how much did you fall short?
- Did you hit your new customer acquisition targets? Did you launch the planned number of new products?
- What specific actions will you change in H2 to improve performance?
After all presentations, Polly Ma acknowledged the team’s achievements in the first half: dishwasher pods grew 35% year-on-year in production and sales, dishwasher tablets output set a new record, laundry pod was introduced two new shapes, and toilet cleaner tablet was added two new reserve formulas. She then laid out the key priorities for H2:
- Firstly, focus on high-value core customers, concentrate resources on top-tier accounts and expand the base of quality clients.
- Secondly, Full digitalization of process management – track the opportunity conversion funnel weekly; every deal must have clear progression milestones, removing “based on feeling”.
- Thirdly, Strengthen team collaboration through mentorship – continue the “senior-junior” pairing system, encourage cross-sharing of experiences and lessons, and drive collective improvement.
The afternoon open discussion lasted two and a half hours, with Polly Ma’s participating. Centered on four prepared topics – new customer acquisition strategy, new product development objectives and timelines, project management process optimization, and organizational structure adjustments – the team drew on frontline experience to speak candidly and exchange views, generating a lively and productive atmosphere.
This was a meeting with no flowers and no applause – but just numbers, responsibility, and timelines. And that, precisely, is what a true sales offensive looks like.
